Here's a good condition Eubanks with markings 820, HS, SK, 63. I believe this holster was made for the High Standard Sport King, maybe 6 3/4"? . Anyone out there willing to take a guess?
Since I don't own a High Standard, anyone know of a current (made in the last 30 years) pistol that might fit into this?
Also, would this be considered a desirable holster & what it might fetch on the open market? Appreciate any and all opinions.
You are correct about what the holster was made for. Red is (of course)
correct that Ruger pistols would be another use for it. Possibly Colt and
Browning pistols could work as well.
I collect Eubanks, Eubanks Pioneer, and Idaho Leather holsters. The are
pretty good quality for a lot less, usually, than the more well known brands.
Therefore, on the market I believe you would be lucky to fetch fifty bucks.

This is such a nice looking holster(to me) that I'd hate to have this sitting in a (holster) box and not see any use.
The value you mentioned at least gives me some hope that I might be able to trade it for something I'd get more use from.
