Default S&W holster - model number question

I have a S&W holster numbered 22 72 W .

I have a Beretta Bobcat in .25 acp in it and it fits very well.
My question is did this holster fit a S&W revolver?
A Mod 36/60 fits but the strap won't reach over to fasten.

I used to have a chart for just such question but ... I can't find it.

Thank you!

Now I gotta' go dig out a Mod 49 and try it out!

I have a big drawer cabinet with holsters filling it up.
I'd be lying if I said I have an idea what all of those holsters fit.

I've been known to dig to the bottom of the box at a gunshow and buy a good piece of leather just 'cause I like the looks or it was just to cheap to pass up.

I'm sure I'm in good company.
