I've been carrying my 642-1 every day in a Side Guard Holsters Quick Clip IWB holster for the last 4 or 5 years. Comfortable, easy on/off, and secure. I think they're an excellent value with reasonable prices. They make a variety of holsters, IWB or OWB. The only down side is that the wait times can be long. The last I heard he was taking about 12 weeks to deliver.

I agree with those who said it's a trial-and-error process. What works for me might not necessarily work for you.
And here's a good article on what to avoid when selecting an IWB holster:

I carry Alien gear and Crossbreed for IWB. The Crossbreed was a little stiff to start off, but once the leather formed to my hip its perfect.

I carry everyday. I use leather holsters off of Ebay and yes I have a few as well. In the winter I wear a polar fleece vest over my OWB holster when I take off my jacket. In the summer. One size bigger tee shirt with any IWB holster. I find I can get really good deals on Ebay, and haven't bought a new holster for a long time, since now I keep my guns and don't trade them. lol!
I would not suggest King tucks, plastic, or alien gear or paddle holsters. They are too bulky.
