Another vote for the crew over at N82. I use the Pro Tandem model and it's solid, comfortable against your skin (soft suede backing) and the gun remains tightly secure against all movements.

I was in the same boat except with a white hat holster, still love it but my stealth gear goes with me everyday

Com-Tac MTAC going on 4 years, all day comfort.
Replaceable shells when you switch guns.
Also for a custom holster, Tommy Theis (pronounced Tice)
of Theis Holsters: [email protected]
He just did one for my 1911. Clips have adjustment holes
in the leather backing for plenty of cant/up & down.

So after my range trip today (great gun!) I went to bass pro and swapped the DeSantis for the Bianchi 100. Much better, but since it's a minimal profile you certainly feel the lump on your side more than the others.
The alien gear is good for Tshirt, against the skin wear, and it's starting to conform better.
Still, I'm ordering a milt sparks ASAP for my everyday carry. I'll keep either the alien or the bianchi for light carry duty. Can't decide which one yet, however.

I have an alien gear but for whatever reason I just couldn't get it to where I was comfortable. I bought a concealment express and am very happy with it

Ive been using a Leatherneck Tactical for my Shield. About 18 months of use with no issues, and no finish wear on my Shield. Liked it enough to get rid of my leather cc holster for that gun. I do like my JG Gunleather owb leather holster though, I use that for cc and oc often for quick trips to check cams at the farm after running errands

The bianchi 100 is actually proving to be pretty darn comfortable, but I still dislike that it cants all over the place. Tried calling milt sparks today and their phone doesn't seem to be working
Edit: Called again after a few hours and got my order in. Looking forward to it!

I use a sticky holster for both my carry guns. Springfield XD mod 2 and Sig P320 carry with threaded barrel. Very comfortable even with the larger gun.

Remora with full sweat shield, Shield 40 never touches my skin and it stays all day without issue, Well unless you're wearing loose clothing, Then a belt is needed. Central Fl here
At first I bought one without sweat shield, Didn't like it at all.

I use the Crossbreed Supertuck and it's nice but expensive at around $100 for the horsehide.
On the cheap I really like the Concealment Express IWB for $35 shipped its all kydex and a nice light summer carry option.

I carry my M&P Shield in the alien gear cloak tuck 3.0 and love it. It is very comfortable. The only time that I wear something else is if I'm wearing athletic shorts or pants that you wouldn't wear a belt with. Then I carry in a belly band.

Dayum. When did crossbreed get so expensive? I think I paid like $40 max for a supertuck years ago.

Favorite IWB shield holsters?
Yep,
I got mine about two years ago and it's still around the same price $92.25 plus $8.95 shipping

I bought mine in maybe 2010, and it was a one man operation back then, things are much more "businessy" with them now. More power to them! Nothing wrong with success.
Edit: just searched my email, and indeed the price hadn't changed a whole lot. Just $60 in my dreams, I guess. In 2010 they were $84.

I don't like hybrids for my single stacks (Shield 45 and PPS M2). I like either leather or a single clip kydex. If going leather, there are many fine makers out there. You have to do a thorough search to see what price, style, lead time fits your needs. At the present I have Winthrop dual snap IWBs for the Shield 45 and the PPS M2 but I am looking at getting another Lobo Gunleather for them. In kydex I have Dreadnought single clips for the Shield and PPS and a Cooks single clip for the PPS.

3S16:
Is your N82 holster right or left hand? I'm thinking about getting a Shield 9mm. If left handed, are you willing to sell it and if so, how much?

I have an Alien Gear for my shield. It is comfortable, but really big and bulky. I only wear it when I have to tuck in a dress shirt.
Almost all the time I wear a single clip kydex holster. Much smaller and lighter weight overall. Works great with either jeans or shorts (and a good belt). I love the NextBelts.

I recommend a Bianchi Model 135 Suppression holster which can be found at the below link.
Model 135 Suppression™ Inside Waistband (IWB) Holster - The Safariland Group
That is probably one of the most comfortable holsters I have ever worn. I don't have one for my Shield, but I've carried a full size Glock 22/31 in it and you couldn't tell I was carrying a handgun. My second choice would be a Crossbreed Supertuck followed by Alien Gear.
