Default 18-3 Holster Recommendations

Looking for a holster for my newly acquired 18-3. I do not intend to carry it often, but I want it to be well cared for when I do...

Any K frame holster will do the job....I use a Kramer for mine. On occasion a DeSantis Speed Scabbard.

Depends on what you are using the gun for; protection, plinking, target shooting, etc.

When I am out in the woods where quick draw is not really needed I like a full flap holster to keep the dirt and grunge out of the gun.

Target and the occasional marauding bunny. Mostly concerned with something that is gentle on my new toy.

When out in the woods hunting, I carry an Idaho Leather holster, of which I have a few for a few different size revolvers, and one for the Ruger Mk. II .22 auto. Sometimes I carry my concealed holster from Rodek Leathers, which is really a good all-around holster. I'm just an old cowboy, but really like the more traditional leather products.
