Heiser found at MAAC show
This past weekend I was at the Michigan Antique Arms Collector show and really couldn't find a gun to buy. I did find this nice pre war Heiser black holster for a Colt Model 1903. Someone in the distant past removed the end of the safety strap but it still works fine.

Very nice. That elongated triple H makes it an old timer too. Maybe
bought when the gun was new?

I've seen more than a couple Heisers with that type of snap that had verdigris so bad it rotted the leather and caused the strap to shorten itself like that.
