Lucky Phil got a package from Australia in today's mail.
Inside was a beautiful black "Brill-Persons" by Red Nichols.
Besides being candy for the eye, it is an engineering marvel.
My 1911 Colt Gold Cup slipped into it like it had found it's home.
It fit like it was melted and poured into the holster.
I made a few photos shown below, but Red already showed
photos (better than mine) along with descriptions of the holsters
features. Much better than I could describe them. Suggest you
look at the thread titled How to counterfeit a Brill holster. Scroll
down to post #21 for Red's photos and descriptions.
Here are my photos left to right:
Front of the holster with my 1911 on board.
Back of the holster.
Bottom of the holster showing the welt.
Top of the holster showing the sight protector.
Colt and holster on a black BW belt with a silver Navajo buckle
by O. Nezzie, and my Piranha knife.
Hope you like it. I sure do. I will be posting more about
it and my other Sunday Holsters soon.
