Holster ID help requesed
Hoping TUNNERRIVER is awake. A friend just came back from Arizona with a holster I would like to know more about. The writing on the front are in an oval and reads: OFFICIAL FOLSOM AUDLEY. On the back it reads: A 145 OMT 88 6 OFFICIAL FOLSOM AUDLEY T.M. REGISTERED. It appears to fit a 6" Colt revolver. Does anyone have some insight?

I believe the OMT indicates that it was designed to fit an Officer's Model Target. The "6" indicates the bbl length. The rest of the stuff is factory markings indicating model # or catalogue # or something similar.

FT is right on the money. A145 is the holster model number, I'd bet the 88 is actually 38. Does it have a sewn in sight protector?
Regards,

IIRC (?) these holsters had a brass plug that went though the trigger guard as a safety. To draw he weapon, grip the weapon with the trigger finger push the spring loaded brass plug inward and draw.

Thanks for all the help guys. After checking closer it did say 38 and not 88. And to answer TUNNERRIVER no it does not have a sewed in sight block from what I remember.
