A while back I posted an epistle on this forum titled:

If you haven't read it you should, for background on this question.
Many makers were copying Bill Jordan's Border Patrol holster,
and some were not very great quality, so he (Bill) had his
name trademarked so they could not associate his name with
their sub-quality products.
Then he (Bill) gave the exclusive right to the use of his
trademark to Don Hume. Not Sam Myres. I wonder why.
Does anyone know?
