Default 1 MORE BEFORE & AFTER

I thought I already had this Heiser 713 looking pretty good,
but I gave it a dab of Blackrock Leather n Rich anyway.
Before on the left. After on the right.

Gorgeous, but, whoaaa, the Blackrock sure darkened up that Heiser. A museum, armed with these two pics, would sure have to think twice before applying it. Wow.

Did the Blackrock stuff really darken it as much as it appears, or did you change the lighting in the photo? I notice the whole photo looks about a stop or a half-stop darker that the "before" photo.

If it did really darken it that much, that would not be the result I'd be looking for.

I'm guessing it's the lighting; I've use Leather N Rich on many holsters and not seen any color change.

My previous job shown on BEFORE AND AFTER turned out well.
This one turned out much darker. I don't think there was a
difference in the lighting. Maybe the leather was just a lot
more thirsty?

Red liked the first one because it didn't darken so much.
I posted this one to show that it can, and did, darken.

Based on the brightness of the backgrounds, there WAS a difference in the lighting. I don't think the "after" shot should be near as dark.

Good point. I think you are right. It's not really that dark
in person.
