Default AN ALAMO FOR MY 1911 COLT

I was surfing the big Bay and came across a Mexican carved
Alamo holster for a 1911. It was getting no respect.

I remembered turnerriver, a while back, saying about Alamo
"good looking, well made holsters from Texas".

So I jumped in and rescued it. Got here very promptly. I
gave it a bath, made a couple of minor repairs, and put a
dab of Blackrock Leather 'n' Rich on it.

Here is the BEFORE on the left, and the AFTER on the right.

Phil,

I have a few of the Alamo branded holsters. They are well made and all of mine are lined with calfskin(??).

Good find!

My guess would be lined with pigskin. But that's just
a guess.

I was watching that holster... good on ya. By the way. Pig skin is the lining, I have one for a 4" K frame.
