Mika pocket holsters
I've heard a lot of good things about Mika pocket holsters. I have a nice 1977 Colt Cobra I'm considering for pocket carry, but am concerned about corrosion due to sweat, particularly in the hammer which was left in the white. I would wipe it down at the end of the day, but I've seen pitting on python hammers would want to avoid this. Will a Mika protect as advertised? Thanks.

That's good to here. I ordered one for my 442 about the middle of January so hopefully it shows up soon.

I've ordered several over the years and recommended them to a number of people.
Of course I recently ordered one from another company and have no idea why I didn't think of Mika first. Good guy to deal with, good product, reasonably priced.
His delivery time used to be just a few weeks, but his products have become very popular lately.

Dan:
I have had one for about 10 yrs and have been through 2 S&W 442s. I don't tend to clean my carry gun very often and do a lot of manual labor with it in my pocket. Like most of this type, it catches a lot of grass, leaf particles, etc while working. If you don't regularly empty it out and clean your gun, it will most likely begin to rust or corrode.
However, the one I have also has rubbed the finish off of my guns, especially the cylinder. But I put mine in my pocket when I get up and take it out before hitting the shower at night. Every day.
But I keep using it because it is the most comfortable and secure pocket holster I have ever had and it doesn't allow the gun to print through my britches.

I just got one and have been very pleased with it. It doesn't print, the revolver comes out readily and the holster stays in your pocket. I can recommend it.

I used to get them in about 2 weeks - now he's out about 12 weeks! (that's what he told me recently)

I've had mine for over 10 years and can't say anything bad about it at all. When I first got mine it took about a month to get it but now he is so backed up because his product is so good that he's got a couple month wait list. I don't think you'll be disappointed with it.

Great Holster
I have been carrying a 442 in a Mika's pocket holster for three years now. It is very durable and does not print. It does come out of my pocket on a draw, but I train by swiping the holder off my gun and it is no problem at all. Mika calls and discusses your order and always answers the phone or returns the call. Great holster and service.

Yeah that surprised me. I ordered mine online late on a Saturday afternoon and about an hour later the phone rings and it was Bob Mika just checking the order to make sure I was getting what I needed.

Good holster. There's a reason he's been making them for so long

I've carried the same Mika pocket holster on a daily basis for longer than I can remember. Started off with a Model 60 w/bobbed hammer in it, then a Model 640, and now a Model 642. I can't seem to wear it out. It's a great holster!

I've always heard good things about Mika, but since I have been so thrilled with my DeSantis brand pocket holsters I bought many years ago, I never had reason to buy another brand. BTW - the DeSantis Nemesis Pocket Holsters last forever! If they ever wear out, I might try a Mika.

I ordered my first Mika holster right before Christmas based off all the recommendations I've heard. It shipped yesterday.

Amazing is a good word for it.
I was out and about one day... an unknown number was displaying on my iPhone. When I answered I was surprised that it was Mika wanting to review the order. He then went on to explain his product and chitchat for 10min. Maybe that's why he's behind on orders...
Great guy. Great product.

I am quite pleased with my Mika. My J-frame lives there now every day. I have tried others and found the overall function of the Mika to be superior.
If I change carry pieces, I will get a Mika for the new one.
You may not be impressed until you actually use it. The performance shines!
