I like the rounded corners on the bottom. It leads me to believe that it won't wear the pocket as much as square corners. Larry

As much as I am a Leather guy, the DeSantis Nemises Pocket holster is far superior to Leather IMO. It is synthetic material which does NOT absorb moisture as leather does. It is a sticky material which stays in your pocket when the gun is drawn out, it is extremely light weight, has a shape that will NOT print "gun", and will last MANY years! I think they can still be purchased for about $23 bucks and are the best pocket holster I've ever used. Comfortable as hell too.
Again - for holsters Leather is usually my FAV - just NOT for pocket Holsters. You should spend the $23 bucks and try it for yourself - it's really THAT GOOD!

This one stays in pocket perfectly when I draw. Notice the "hook".

Yes, but it is heavier, absorbs moisture which will rust even a Stainless gun and can't be as comfortable as a much softer & padded synthetic material. I'll bet the Leather will also become stinky in the Summer heat when it gets full of sweat. The DeSantis will NOT transfer moisture to the gun! Spend the $23 bucks on the DeSantis and you will NOT regret it! Again - I LUV Leather - but NOT in the pocket!

Interior was water proofed and its not noticeable in terms of weight compared to the black hawk I was using. It's fine.
