Default Patience pays

For the past twenty years every time I see John at a gun show he says " I'm going to get out those Heisers and bring them to you." Over the years he has brought a few and we've come to terms on them. Last week he brought a tub full and I came home with four.
This one is a model 181 holster made for a Savage .32 auto. The model number is shown in catalog number 14 and not in number 19-the 400, 500 and 700 series model numbers appear in number 19. This is a special order holster as number 181 is described as a waffle stamped holster with a snap button closure and sewn seam, this example is basket weave, rawhide edge laced and has a finial closure. The belt loop is riveted and sewn, the leather is stiff, the edge lacing is sound and I have my father in law's Savage to go in it.
Regards,
turnerriver

It looks like virgin vintage. Nice score John.

Awesome holster, John! But, I think you forgot something! Where are the other three?
