Default Blackrock Leather 'N' Rich

I know a lot of folks ask what to use to help the looks a leather product. I use Blackrock Leather 'N' Rich. I thought it might be a good idea to post some before and after pictures so people could see what it can do. Here is a holster that I recently bought, and posted here, that needed some help. Here are the detailed before and after pictures so you can see the difference. If some of you other folks have some before and after pictures, please post them here too so others can see what "magic" this stuff can do.

Before and After:

boykinlp - good pictures. Basic description of your process - preclean, coats, etc. Suggested source of this product.

PS: are you a Boykin man? Had one and a few E Springer Spaniels. Great dogs.

Tom,
If I think they are bad, I will clean them with saddle soap first.

My method is to put the Blackrock Leather 'N Rich on with my finger. A little goes a long way. Don't put it on too thick. Then, I do something that I think works, but others may not. I hit the holster with a hair dryer. I think it makes it soak in the holster better, but it may be my imagination. Then, I let the holster sit over night or until it is not sticky anymore. Then I brush it with a horse hair shoe brush. If I don't think it looks like I want it, I may do the whole process again.

I buy the Blackrock on Amazon.

I am a Boykin man. I have had 2. The first one was 13 years old when it passed. My current one is 14 years old. Here is Marley as a puppy and more recent:

Here's one I dug out of the closet today.
Before was pretty groaty.
After, not so bad. After it dries overnight, I will buff it with a nylon sock and restore a little more sheen.

Bruce,
Excellent Myres jockstrap holster! They are my favorite. Fantastic restoration, and I am sure it will be even better after the sock treatment! Getting rid of the verdigris was good too. I still say Blackrock works magic!
