need owb holster for S&W 296

I figure someone at the forum can recommend a suitable leather holster for a 296. I know this revolver is not the most popular revolver on the market and a little bit of an oddball, but I like mine. I had it for 8 or 9 years and always put it in a gun box or in a rug and went to the range. Now I'd like to carry it more as I'm on an ATV everyday anyway. I like the 44 Special cartridge and used and still do a couple of Taurus 44 Specials; they are also great guns. The S&W is just plain lighter so I'm looking for a regular leather holster for it.

O'Rourke, Index O'Rourke Leather , is now charging full price for his holsters, rather than giving them away like he used to, but his work is first-rate, and he can probably make what you need in a pancake. Lobo gunleather, Lobo Gun Leather - Home , sold not so long ago by one of our esteemed members here, is another maker who I believe is capable of making what you want in a practical holster.

I have purchased holsters for slightly odd S&Ws from both of these firms, and have been very pleased. Their holsters work.
