I think I'm ready for the BBQ.
I finally got around to doing the BBQ rig I've been wanting to make.

Very nice work. Most definitely worth wearing to the BBQ.

That's very nice. I like it that the oak leaf design is more open...there is good spacing between the leaves and other design elements. Sort of gives the overall pattern room to breathe. It's a beautiful rig.
How wide is the belt?

Very nice work! The only problem I see is that you must change the rubber grips to ivory, pearl, or wood!

You're right. I'm sorry
I love the look of ivory, bone, wood. But, most of the firearms I use have ugly rubber grips on them. I've been using that 627 at the local speed steel matches this year. Planning on showing up Sunday with that rig. I'm pretty slow ,, but I hope to look good doing it..
( the knife handle is actually bone,, the picture doesn't show the figure in the bone at all.. hopefully I'm better at leather work than picture taking,, )

Minority Report: Personally I like the contrast of the black rubber with
the stainless steel. For instance, my Model 67 Combat Masterpiece shown
here with a dog ear holster by Oliver Ball, and some ammo. The grips
are Craig Spegel designed Uncle Mikes. I think they look good, and more
important, they feel good when I shoot.

I would go for either some ebony or buffalo horn. It's fancy, but still keeps the nice contrast of black grips on a silver gun.

Very nice leatherwork !
And perhaps the easiest solution for this "grip problem":
Screw on the same grip-model in (dark) wood ?
