Got my first gun belt finished. Hand stitched. Any suggestions on how to keep the inside of the belt stitching straight would be greatly appreciated. Please critique.gunbelt.jpg

You could reduce the size of your holes a bit. Makes the needle a little difficult to pull, but leaves less room for the thread to wander.

Or you could leave the hole size as is and go to a "two-needle saddle stitch" which fills the hole more.

Belt looks good for an early attempt, and not bad for a veteran.

I think it looks pretty nice. Personally, what the stitching looks like on the inside wouldn't bother me. You'll never see it when you're wearing it anyways.
