I recently picked up a “Jack Ass” brand inverted shoulder holster, that fits a 2” – 2 1/2” K frame. This is the holster Only. I attempted to make a figure 8 harness using 1” nylon webbing; to say the final product was less than stellar is an understatement.

So, my question is, can anyone offer a suggestion for having a harness made, or where I can buy an off the shelf harness? As this will be an occasional use holster, I don’t need anything fancy.

Old Bear from your description all you have is the Jack *** holster and your DIY cloth straps that didn't pan out too well. You will need a leather harness for the left shoulder to attach the holster to and also the cloth straps that go around to the right shoulder. Post a photo of your Jack *** inverted holster, they were all basically the same design except for some variation of the attachment points to the harness. I might have a right hand harness and straps that will work.

I would search Galco's website. They have complete rigs as well as straps, holsters, mag holders, etc. separately also.
Or give em a call.
I have some of their shoulder rig stuff and I really like 'em.

Old Bear from the photo my harness wont match up with your holster, as suggested contact Galco they should have a harness that will work.

You might try something like this
