I got this a deal for a Colt Officer's Model .38 & was wondering as to value & age. The belt & holster have matching serial numbers:

I believe the numbers are the order numbers which means that they were ordered at the same time. As far as age goes, the numbers appear to be somewhat early, possibly 1980's.

Just for a little more info, the belt looks to be their Garrison Belt and the holster their Threepersons model. I have a couple of those belts and holsters for different guns. I say Garrison Belt because of that big square brass buckle. And I believe the number "5" on the back of the holster indicates a 5-inch barrel.
I'm not sure how far back their records go, but if you called or e-mailed them and gave them the order number, they might could tell you when they made it.
I can't tell from looking at the photos, but their Threepersons holsters are all lined with pigskin now, so if yours isn't lined, that would probably indicate an earlier manufacturing time.

And that's as old as one can get with "El Paso Saddlery", which is simply the DBA of REM Industries (for Robert E. McNellis) that was founded in 1978; as distinguished from El Paso Saddlery Company, a different, very old corporation founded in 1890 and dissolved 1902 (and which didn't make the Threepersons Style holsters that were brought to market after 1930).

I wouldn't expect them to be particularly valuable. One can no longer buy a new Myres or Heiser, but one can buy the modern EPS new. Now, if it were an original EPSCo., then the sky's the limit, can't be many of those in existence :-). Far more Shelton Payne Arms holsters, which was the company formed after EPSCo was sold (but before it closed; someone didn't sign a non-compete agreement [one partner in common]).
