Default Holster I.D. Who's the Man? (or woman)

I picked up an old Brauer Bros. Holster. Obviously, I don't know what it is for. Checked some on the net, with no luck. Then I thought of posting here. Just curious I guess. See pictures. Approx. 6.5" X 11". Thanks, Bob

It appears to be for a small semi-auto pistol, so (as with another recent "what does this holster fit? thread) I would guess a Colt 1903/1908 Pocket Hammerless, or perhaps a Walther PP/PPK.

AU 25 is the size designation for a .45 auto. Alan picked up on it being made for an auto pistol & the rug does seem to be small for a .45 auto. Let us know if a .45 fits.
Regards,
turnerriver

The A was hard to read. My Sig P239 goes in kind of on the tight side. It has a 3.6" barrel if I remember right. There is some barrel room left. A commander might make it. Thanks, Bob
