CAN YOU GUESS THE MAKER?
Thought this might be a fun little game for all you holster lovers.
I post a holster and you guess the maker. The first one to post
the correct guess is the winner.
About 3 days is enough, so I will post the winner Sunday about this time.
(2PM Mountain Time). What's the prize for the winner?
I don't know yet, but It will be something appropriate.
I'll let you know Sunday.
Here's the holster with my S&W 4" Model 19 .357 magnum.

AND THE WINNER IS
No point waiting until 2PM. Less than an hour after I posted
this little game, our esteemed leader, turnerriver, posted the
correct answer: The maker of the holster was BRAUER BROS.
About the prize? In my ALL YOU HOLSTER ADDICTS post #59,
I referred to a manual I had been putting together about holster
collecting. In April, I posted HELP WANTED FOR A NEEDED MANUAL
to help sellers and buyers figure out what gun fits
in their holsters.
It only took 65 pages to tell everything I know about those
subjects, but 55 of the pages have color photos. I was concerned
that the cost of color printing would preclude marketing the little manual.
About that time, I was interrupted by a little heart attack, so
the manual has been on the back burner for a while. But
recently I decided to go ahead with the project. As Yogi Berra
might have said, if people don't want to buy it, I can't stop them.
In about two weeks, my little manual will roll off the press.
I named it RENOWNED GUN LEATHER. The first copy that
comes off the press goes in the mail to our winner, turnerriver.
Congratulations John!

After posting this I went back and looked at John's winning answer. Didn't expect Brauer, so, well done to John, too!
