Hello... A local family run gun shop was going out of business. Many of the items have not seen the light of day in quite a while... they had been hidden in storage. I bought many nice items. Included in my purchases were 7 new old stock George Lawrence shoulder holsters each including the off shoulder white elastic straps & leather. All are model "8" holsters. I have been having some difficulty identifying proper handguns to fit. Any help is appreciated.

My questions are:
1. What manufacturer/models does each holster accomodate?
2. Does the model 8 holster have another "common" name?

513-colt Woodsman 6",Challenger & Huntsman as well.
519-Colt Commander automatic
532- 4" N frame S&W-models 27,28,20,58 and 1926 & 1950 Military
577- Ruger .44 Mag. Single action with 6 1/2" barrel
607-S&W model 39 auto
641-Ruger Mk. I bull barrel w/out brake
657-Ruger Super Single Six 6 1/2"
I couldn't find any other name referenced in Lawrence catalogs-it's a pouch type holster with safety strap and leather tie down thong.

Good leather. Here is mine bought 60 years ago to carry my Gen 2 SAA rather than issue 38 Airweight.

Here it goes for another try. Lawrence holster and 45 Colt

Very nice! All I bought are plain leather. The basketweave pattern has always been a favorite of mine. Some of the holsters I purchased are tan & some are a reddish/russet color like yours. Thanks for sharing.

Didn't a SSA take up alot of room in an F-89D?
