Leather Holsters for 5" J-Frame S&W's - Source found & Photos added!!
Been looking for a place to purchase a leather holster for my 5" J-Frame Model 63 and found a place near my home town.
Price is fair and I am looking forward to checking out the holster when it arrives.
Here's a link.....

Received my holster today - Photos added
It came in the mail today, about a 2-week turnaround.....not bad and good fit/quality. I like the long tail put on the strap, but you can ask for shorter if you prefer. This is the model #120 which is similar to the Elmer Keith style.
I also ordered one of these for the 4.25" L Frame M69 since leather for that one is not easy to find.

That 5" M-63 is one of the best handling guns S&W ever made. My wife has been carrying hers in obsolete DeSantis speed scabbard, but I question the retention while in the field with other gear.

I agree completely on the handling, too bad S&W had such a limited run on the 5".......took me a while to finally get my hands on one.
The holster shown cost me $90 with the edge stamping......it's only $80 without and of course you can go crazy and go with carving or basket weave for a premium.
Maybe get your wife one of these?? If you do, please tell them you saw it on the SWCA forum!

That's sweet times two. Not only is the holster handsome, but I had never seen a 5" Model 63 which looks a super-fine, nice-shooting j-frame revolver (reminiscent of a slightly shorter stainless steel Model 35).
