Default Solid Foundation: From BullHide

The foundation of any carry rig that rides on the waist is the Belt. Time and time again I see the inexperienced make the right move by investing in a top quality, costly holster, only to negate that smart move by putting the holster on a flimsy belt. Then they complain that the "holster" is uncomfortable and not supporting the pistol.

My experience has been the belt is every bit as important as the holster, and the belt should be the first smart move, not an afterthought.

I've been breaking in two new belts from BullHide Belts. They're both the flexible steel core model, 1.5", one in brown with solid brass buckle, one in black with solid stainless buckle. The belts are incredibly strong, yet flexible right out of the box. They're comfortable and supportive to the point where I don't feel the weight of anything I attach to them. The belts are doing all the support, instead of my back. Now add that good quality holster and you'll carry easy all day.
