List of forum holster makers?
Is there a list somewhere of members of the forum here that make holsters? If not, admins, can we make one and put it somewhere?

There is a forum vendor area that is available to all sellers as well as buyers. There is also of course the classified section. I would hope that our enterprising holster makers have already sent you private messages-I would if I made holsters. I wouldn't want to check
on the revolver forums and find them full of for sale ads and I don't think we'd want that here. There are ample opportunities for sales and entrepreneurs, they seem underused to me. Check out the sticky This is Not A Sales Forum at the top for a better explanation from the Big Gorilla.

I understand there are vendors listed in the vendor form, but it would be nice to have a list of which of the vendors or holster makers. I don't like having to click on each one to find out what they do.

Which I'll bet his wife repeats to Phil every time he buys a new holster (how many does he HAVE?).
Which reminds me, to reimburse Phil in cash or trade :-).
P.S. Speaking of "The Book": perhaps it would be agreeable to the forum, to emulate what has been done at http://smith-wessonforum.com/standar...ue-s-w-4th-ed/ for the Smith reference book. This would provide an opportunity for any/all to keep its authors from making any embarrassing errors, and even provide a vehicle for increasing attendance on the overall site itself. I'm not suggesting sales support in any way; strictly technical.

It would be very easy for someone to make a list of all the holster makers
who are members of this forum. A representative photo of their work
along with their contact information would make a neat little manual.
I'll bet the forum would give such a manual the same exposure that they
gave mine. As Red pointed out, you won't get rich, but you will help
others by filling a need.
Many of our member/makers work is displayed in various threads. Take
a look at the 5 star rated "The Ultimate BBQ gun & leather thread" for
an example. It's not difficult to determine who the makers are. They
don't keep it a secret. You will even find beautiful examples of
05CarbonDRZ work amply displayed on this and other threads.
BTW Red, I owe you much more than you owe me.
P.S. I just read This is Not a Sales Forum at the top of Gun Leather and Carry Gear
by handejector as turnerriver suggested. If you read it you will find the policy
is very liberal. It gives anyone a chance to get started. After a couple of
advertisements, however, it should go to the classifieds. Makes sense to
me.

Exactly.
Should we put a list of gunsmiths in the smithing section??
A list of gun dealers in all the gun forums?
A list of ammo dealers in the ammo forum?
As John stated, the classifieds offer adequate opportunity for holster makers to display their wares.

That's it.
You're done here.
Almost two years ago on Sept 4, 2015, we had this exchange via PM:

It has been explained several times, starting with the first Reminder I sent you on July 4th, in the PMs between us, and continuing with the two threads about the issue and the sticky I posted in the leather forum.
I'll state it one more time in plain terms-
You screwed up.
So did three other makers.
By that, I mean that the four of you were abusing that forum.
We caught it. We dealt with it.
The other three makers were contrite to some degree and seemed to easily grasp what we were doing.
You, on the other hand, have whined and moaned incessantly, both in public and private. You have acted like you have been deprived of something that belongs to you, when, in fact, you were using something that does NOT belong to you in obvious violation of the intent and spirit of The Rules.
No matter what we allow in that forum, you four guys won't get any promotion or discussion there for some time. You've already had enough. After some months for things to find a normal level, we'll see.
I told you from the beginning to post a long ad showing your work with all the pics you wanted explaining what you do. You can bump it once per day. I see that you have not done that, but you've had the time to keep jabbing at us.
As Ron White said: "I had the right to remain silent, but I did not have the ability." You ought to ponder that.
Your buyers are free to use the FB section. If they do, and you reply, I advise you to keep the replies brief and don't turn those replies into promos.
Now, I'll be very direct-
You have chosen to be annoying here, or perhaps it is just your nature. I'm too old and life's too short to willingly endure constant aggravation when I can avoid doing so.
So-
If you don't like it here, feel free to leave.
Stay if you want to.
I don't care, because I can assure you that you will no longer be a source of aggravation.
If you post, do so courteously and within the rules. If you don't, I'll ban you.
Let the Leather Forum issue rest. If you don't, I'll ban you.
Stop annoying and sniping at me and the Staff, both publicly and privately. If you remain a source of annoyance for me or the Staff, I'll ban you.
If the issue attracts more discussion, stay out of it. If you don't, I'll ban you.
That's as plain as I can put it.
This is my last communication on the matter.

I don't usually ban in public, but you do have a rather high profile here with a large following for your fine work, and your jabs at us have been plentiful and public.
Life is too short to suffer fools gladly.
If anyone is inclined to intercede on 05's behalf, save it. I'm done with his abuse.
