Mika's is a 1st class act
Today I picked up my new S&W 442-1 and thought I would order a pocket holster. After all the rave reviews that I have seen on here, I ordered a Mika's Pocket Holster.
Within 5 minutes my phone rang and it was Mr. Mika calling to thank me for the order and to ask me if I had any questions for him. And this was at 9:30 PM. He told me about his company and explained how his holsters were designed. He also said how important his customers were to him.
This man is a class act.

Mika's been doing this for decades, and yes the man is a class act. He's one of the best guys in the business.
I've got several of his holsters. They're reasonably priced to do a job. His customer service is second to none. The more your pistol is in the holster and the more the holster is in your pocket the better the fit and feel gets.

Thanks for the reply, it is reassuring to see so many satisfied customers. It's good to know that his holsters get a better fit as you use them.
Thanks again for the info and great photos of your guns and holsters.

If I'm breathing there's a pistol, at least one, in my pocket/s, and that pistol is riding in a Mika Holster. Plain and simple, they work and work well. They're soft, flexible, and lightweight. My pistol is holstered, but I don't feel the holster at all, maximum comfort.
In general I like Pocket Holsters for their quick "grab n go" convenience. A G26 in my right, front pants pocket, my Shield 9mm in a side cargo pocket, or side jacket pocket in cool weather, and in seconds I'm ready, out the door.

Shhhhh! Don't tell people about Mika and his holsters. Wait times are getting much longer!
I ordered my pocket holster from him with an open bottom. He sent a closed bottom one. I emailed and asked if I could sent it back for an exchange. He said that I should keep the first one and he'd send me one with the closed bottom.
Not many companies would do that sort of thing.
I'm waiting for a holster for my Bersa Thunder 380CC. Hopefully it will arrive in a couple of weeks.

Wow, he really knows how to conduct business. Not many companies operate like this anymore. He told me his lead time is closer to 9 weeks now because he is working more hours

I ordered a holster from him years ago.. He told me " Don't pay me yet, if you don't like it, give it to a friend and I'll send you another one."
I liked it and you can bet your bippy, I sent him a check. It takes a week or two for the holster to conform to your gun and pocket. It seems bulky and first but gets better and better as you wear it.
We need more guys like him.

Wouldn't it be nice if everyone did business like him? I was discussing the round cut vs the square cut and he said if I didn't like the round cut to call him and he would send me a square cut. I can't wait to get mine.

I awoke this morning to find an email notice that Mika has shipped my holster. I should have it mid week, and will of course post pictures.

The website said 12 weeks when I placed the order, but it was about 9 weeks.
Here's a picture of the holster with the Bersa in it. Very comfortable, needs absolutely no break in. I'll take it out for the first time tomorrow. Going to a client site and will have to lock the gun in the truck. Easy to do with this holster.

Because of the very favorable posts about these holsters and the man selling them I went to his website and ordered one. It couldn't have been 15 minutes and he called me to make sure what I ordered was what I really wanted. We talked for probably 20 minutes, and you are all right, this guy is a class act. Thank you all for the informative post.

Jaysq, In my many years, (40+), of carrying I found that there is no such thing as one size fits all. While you may find an ok compromise, you likely will need more than one Mika Holster. Specifically, I pocket carry a 649-2 daily. For Levis I use a Mika round; for suit pants which have side opening pockets I use a Mika Square, and for very large pockets like in cargo pants I have a DeSantis Nemisis. You are right that Mika is a class outfit.

I was truly impressed by his phone call too. More businesses should learn to operate like him.

More than one Mika holster doesn't sound like a bad thing, LOL. You are right, one holster doesn't fit everywhere.

Yes, there STILL ARE a handful of reputable businessmen left in our Industry. It's refreshing when we run across one of them. While I will admit to not owning one of the Mika Holsters (just always used a DeSantis Nemesis and liked it so much I have never had the need to try one), I have always heard customers singing praises of him and his products. Good for him and good for us!

I now own two of Mr. Mika's fine holsters, a square cut one for slacks and a radius cut one for jeans. Great guy, called to confirm details the day I placed the order. Emailed me after it was sent.

Robert is currently making my 7th holster. This one is a Waistband holster for my CZ RAMI. Mika holsters have replaced every single Pocket and IWB holster that I'ver ever owned. They work perfectly and they're the most comfortable holsters that I've ever used.
I've stopped trying to find anything better.
Robert's level of customer service and craftsmanship is incomparable!
Check out the video that he put on youtube last month.
