Default Lawrence Outdoorsman rig

I'm putting my gun room back together after converting it to a hurricane safe room and ran across some rigs I have. They're hard to store but worth the trouble. This one belonged to my father in law's friend and hunting partner. It's a George Lawrence model 140 holster, laced, lined and with a sewn in sight protector. It's stamped 2 6 1/2 indicating group 2 ( large frame S&W revolvers including the Outdoorsman in it ) with 6 1/2" barrels. The belt is a model 50 B, size 40 with .38 caliber cartridge loops.
While we've got another month of heat and humidity the fall is coming which means shooting at my buddy's range in the Big Cypress Swamp.
Regards,
turnerriver

Absolutely fantastic gun rig!!! Lawrence really did fabulously good work for their long run in the business! Was traveling downtown Portland last week and drove by the old building on 1st Avenue. I have a few items of Lawrence leather. Wish they were still in business. The old building looks good though!

That is one beautiful rig and I have to say that fully loaded with cartridges and a .38-44 that's gotta be quite a bit of weight to pack around.
