WTK: Good leather holster for 5" N-frame
Looking for a good leather holster for a 5" 27-2. Ideally something like a Bianchi Cyclone (which they don't mfg for a 5"). Thanks in advance.

Look at wrightleatherworks. in Ohio or Tucker leather in texas. Both are top notch makers.

Milt Sparks: 200AW.
Kramer Leather: MSP Paddle. I have several and find them to be great for big autos and revolvers.

Lobo made a great pancake for my 5.5" 1917 reproduction. I can carry that thing concealed!

If you just want simple and not too expensive, Bianchi 5BH or 5BHL. I've got a 5BHL on a 5" 625. Works fine, an ok range or field holster. You may have to bag it overnight and stretch the strap a little for a good fit, but that's minor imho.
Midway is having a 10% off Bianchi sake right now, and one for the 5" model 27 shows in stock.

Take a look at the Simply Rugged web site. They make pancake, drop leg, cross draw, pretty much any thing you want. Turn around time is pretty good and the prices for what you get are very fair. A quality custom made holster at a fair price.

Galco is the best of the mainline makers now. And they make Cyclone clone (a CyClone?). Virtually never a reason to buy from us little makers for the mainstream holster designs, the originators do a great job of them already.
Say, working for Bianchi all those years I heard a lot of mangling of the name (you have to hear Bi Natchi to believe it) yet Bi maanchi just might take the cake.

They may not make one now, but they did. The feedback I got was that these were all marked 44, but were really just for N frames. I found this one on Ebay a while back.

Well done! Mine is the only one I have seen and they don't seem to be common.
