I came across an Alessi Pocket Holster for the S&W J frame 2" that is marked T85, however I thought the Alessi T85 was the shoulder holster model? I am confused, can anyone clarify what the T85 stamp on the Alessi pocket holster means? Thank you in advance.

You could call Alessi (716) 693-4000. I don’t think T 85 indicates a shoulder rig...Talon holster model perhaps. That’s an IWB though

T85 probably means it was made for a Taurus Model 85 which is
basically the same size as the S&W J Frame so hosters are compatible.

Answer received from Alessi, T85 stands for Taurus 85. Anything stamped T85 should also fit S&W J frames.
