Default Heiser #424 made for Model 1917

I found this holster at a Michigan Antique Arms collectors show recently. It is fully lined and laced with a safety strap. It’s a pre war Heiser made for a Smith &Wesson Model 1917. It has the most beautiful shiney patina of any holster I own. Bill

That was cataloged as an " Army Style Flexible Belt Holster ". The 424 was lined and rawhide laced as yours is, the 425 was unlined and wax thread sewed and the model 438 was an unlined flap holster with a finial closure. They are hard to find, congratulations on finding yours.
Regards,

Nice!
And rare to find lined holsters of that vintage.
