One of my best friends hooked me up with this safariland model 16 with the greenish elk lining. Made for and fits my Ruger Police Speed Six 2 3/4 stainless like a glove. I have an unlined one for a 2 inch k my 3 k snubs take turns riding in. Did not know this model came with an optional retention strap. Sadly the one for this holster is long gone to parts unknown. Gonna be putting a post in WTB for more of these gals when I get back from vacation in a week and a half. If you guys N' gals have some post em please theyre just so damn retro cool.

They must be fairly rare. I've looked for one for a while and not found one
yet. I have a little ad I clipped out of an old American Rifleman magazine.
It says: MODEL 16 Hi-Ride Agent Rides high and close to body for comfort
and concealment. Not available for adjustable sights. Personal choice of
Duke Roberts, foremost authority on police holsters. Available for all
2" revolvers. Plain $7.95; basket $8.95. Soft suede lining $3.75 extra.
Add $1 for 3" barrel.

Oh man would I love one for my 2.5 and 3 inch k frames!!!!!!!

I was looking for a Safariland 16 ever since I clipped this little
ad, which was way before the above post. Well, I finally found
one. Ordered it yesterday. Will show it off when it comes.

Meanwhile, here is a photo of that little ad I mentioned. Sorry
it's not a very good picture, but if you click on it once or twice
you may be able to read it. Difficult because the ad is so small,
and perhaps because photographer is incompetent.
