Default Belly band holsters

Does anyone here use a belly band holster? How do you like it? Does it work better for some body types? What are the advantages and disadvantages to this type of holster? I'm heavy/round in the middle. Carry weapon is a S&W Shield.

Regardless of how you carry, the thing that's as important as
(Besides the will) accuracy is bringing the pistol into action.
Now, how fast do you think you can do this with a belly band holster?
So, everyone who packs should practice and practice, drawing the pistol __consider someone rushing you from ten feet away.
Practice with an empty pistol!
Stay safe out there.

At ten feet it is already too late.

Well, the first rule is to have a gun. I have a couple of belly bands. I don't "like" them and have not used one in a long time for lots of good reasons, but they serve a real purpose, albeit a limited one. For such a purpose, like entering a NPE where detection is not acceptable, they can be valuable.
