DeSantis pancake who's design??
It fits my pre28 5 screw 4" seems well made. I have not seen this pattern before. Galco has something similar.

They call it their Speed Scabbard. I have serveral and really like them.
I like the fact that the leather comes up high enough to cover the hammer
spur and not shred cloths linings.
The Galco is called a Combat Master. It does not have the feature I
mentioned above.

Galco Combat Master on right

I got my first speed scabbard when Gene DeSantis was a 2 man operation in a basement on Long Island in about 1978. It still works fine and the company is still going strong. Just ordered a DeSantis holster and belt by deSantis from Midway today. Best, Joe

I expect it's Gene's design. Galcos are always the copies; I speak from hard-earned experience as Bianchi's and then Gene's designer.
Speaking of basements, he told me about getting his big machines like clickers down into there! Gene is best known for saying that it was Paris Theodore who effectively got him into business, by not delivering in NYC early Seventies.
One of the many reasons the Eastern School holsters are all so similar in styling and construction.

Reason: spellchecker: Eastern is not Easter.

Kramer appears to have taken the Speed Scabbard of DeSantis and run with it. I like the DeSantis still have a couple but they bind on me when I cinch them up tight.
The Semi Auto version more so, as in 1911 models. Carried a LW Commander for years and the De Santis Speed Scabbard always made drawing from them in the 1911 a test of strength.
Have a Speed Scabbard for a 4" 28 that I carry a 629 MG in, basketweave design. DeSantis didn't make a lot of them. Not a regular BW stamping on the leather.
