Old Bianchi #30 clip grib
I have had this for decades, but replaced the brass tension screw with a alloy to stop it from greening. Put a few rubber washers on it. It still works great. Maybe Red Nickels designed this pouch. The pistol is a Colt super 38 and holster my son's. He bought a big Cowboy sewing machine $1800 new. Wow it really works. He made some gunbelts. I want a border belt in oxblood redbrown.

I did invent the Clip Grip, and named it, too :-). I was a teen and had admired, in a big way, Andy Anderson's mag pouch of the '60s; But no sewing machine to make a version of it, so for my older brother and his Browning HP I created this fold-up mag pouch. I brought the design with me to Bianchi and created two versions for them there; a short one for competition and a tall one for uniform wear.
The holster I created for the Browning was a one-off and never produced: a thumbreak complete with the strap across the back of the slide, but it then proceeded down to the mag button area and was opened with the second finger while grasping the pistol. Not bad for a teen.

Still use it when I pack a Colt 1911. It says it will take a SW M39 magazine to. This pouch has been in my kit half my life and I am 64. It carry's well!!

I've got 2 or 3 Clip Grip pouches, for single and double stack mags, and at least one of the higher variety for more protection.
I used them at work and extensively in IPSC and 3-gun competition.
