New custom OWB carry holster
I decided I would treat myself to a custom holster for my Ruger LC9s that I find to be carrying off duty more often. I reached out to Nixon Leather in Alliance, Nebraska, and we visited about what I was looking for and he fixed me up.
This is a right hand OWB with dark shark skin overlay over a basketweave lower. It's form fitted so the pistol is held firm into place. Price was reasonable for a custom holster with exotic skin and the turn around time wasn't bad at about 5 weeks. This is the 3rd holster Lance Nixon has made for me (one I had made for my son for his birthday) and I've been very pleased.
** Footnote
I had to testify in court last week on a case and was scheduled to take the stand after lunch. I usually wear my class A uniform or a suit for circuit court cases and this day I wore a suit. I was eating lunch with the sheriff at the diner across the street from the courthouse that is frequented daily by the myriad of people who have business around the courthouse square including attorneys, judges, local elected officials, businessmen, municipal cops and sheriff's deputies. It was warm so I took off my jacket and hung it on the back of my chair and was wearing my new holster accompanied by my badge, no big deal.
After lunch I worked my way back over to the courthouse, waited my turn to testify, was called to the stand and did what I came to do. As I was leaving the courtroom the bailiff caught me at the door and said, "Faulkner, the judge wants to see you in his chambers, he's about to call a recess."
This did not sound good. I hung around in the corridor until I saw that court had been recessed then I went and knocked on the door to the judge's chambers.
"Come in."
I walked in and said, "good afternoon judge, you looking for me?"
"Hey Faulkner, good job on the stand," he replies.
"Thanks."
Without any further preliminaries he says "Let me see that holster you're wearing. I got a glimpse of it over at the diner during lunch and I wanted to get a closer look before you got away today."
I pulled back my jacket so he could get a closer look and told him what it was and where I'd gotten it.
He said, "Great, I'm going to reach out to him to make me a nice holster, I like that. Thanks for stopping by Faulkner."
"You bet judge, any time.'

Very nice. It would be a shame to conceal that.

Very nice! Do you have an email or website for them? I searched and could only find Facebook posts.
Thanks
