Default A Pair of Heisers

These two are new to me and one is a special order.
This model 411 holster was ordered with attached cartridge loops, note the stamp 38 under the loops. It fits a 4" medium frame revolver and has the early 3 H rivet. Stamped twice on the back " B.&G. Co. Chicago " , the Heiser logo and model number are stamped on the toe of the skirt.

The next holster is a model 903 " Sweat Proof Hip Pocket Holster ". The back has what the catalog says is sweat proof patent leather. The button tab has survived and the holster is in great condition. The early post-war M&P was the best fit I had, a Colt Detective Special rattled around in the holster.

Regards,
turnerriver

Both are beautiful . I particularly like the hip pocket one . Very cool ! Keep them coming TR , I'm getting tired of reading about Kydex !!

Eddie

PS : Got any more of the Mex Myres holsters to post ? That South of the Border Jockstrap kinda got to me .

Can't imagine trying to get a button through the button hole on that pocket model. I'd have to do it before I put my pants on. That doesn't look like the most practical holster design I've ever seen, but it's cool to at least see one.

On the other hand, the loops on that 411would indeed be practical - as long as the loops didn't stretch...

In the photo the back looks more like suede than patent leather.
Patent is usually shiny isn't it?
