Default Ross Leather?

I ordered this back in January and just recently received it. It is distributed by Ross leather and made on South Africa. It actually turned out much better than I anticipated. It is suede lined and quite comfortable. I have seen earlier Ross holsters and was not impressed. But I'm liking this one so far. Anybody else have experience with these?

I have an older Ross for a 1911 commander, it actually fits my full size perfectly. Other than that I like it. No problem with it.
Oh yeah mine's a pancake with retention strap

Looks like a well built holster. It is certainly a good looking piece of leather!

I had this almost horizontal crossdraw. Used it for a driver holster.
Worked well with the Glock model 22. I gave the Glock and holsters
to my granddaughter last Christmas. On the left.

So now when I need a driver holster I use another Ross to carry my
S&W model 10 with 2" barrel. On the right.

I would say I like the Ross products. After using one for years,
I ordered another one.

When I bought mine it was a closeout of older design (with snap
on & off). Now I believe they use velcro instead of snaps. They
just call it a crossdraw driver's holster. Mine was made for an L
frame, so it is a little loose for the model 10, but with the strap
it works ok. Shop a little bit because I have seen them priced
all the way from 50 to 90.

There's just something about basketweave brown leather that I like.
