Question Belly band holster questions?

I have a couple of belly band holster questions?

Do you own a Daltech force belly band holster?

And what gun or guns do you carry in it?

I have one no name belly band holster that will fit almost anything up to a K frame Smith or a mid frame Glock. All I know is it is so uncomfortable It’s been sitting in a box for years.

I have 2. The first was a "Sounded like a good idea." situation. In light of the first the second was simply a stupid mistake! These, and a "T-Shirt holster", also a worthless ***, are still around only because I hate to throw away something I spent good money on, no matter how useless it is! Next time I come across them they go in the trash where they belong so they stop taking up useful space!!!!

I use one regularly, not that brand though. It carries my Walther PPS M2.

I carried a Walther PPK or a S&W Model 38 Bodyguard in an unknown brand belly-band rig for years in undercover operations. Usually carried it in the middle of my back with my shirt tucked in. The "hang" of the shirt in the small of the back hid the gun admirably.
As with anything, it takes some getting used to.

Tried one about 40 years ago, while working as a uniformed cop, carrying a 2" Model 36 under my uniform shirt as a back-up. Uncomfortable pretty well describes that experience. Add in the fact that it would be nearly impossible to get to the gun in less time than it takes to undress yourself.

I wear one every day. As JayCeeNC said it's just a matter of getting
used to it. The labels are long gone so I don't know the brand, but
the velcro never fails. If you try them, get two, so you can alternate.

They aren't bad if you wear them over your pants with an untucked shirt over it.

I'm with the majority here - one of the most uncomfortable things you can wear...

I have one and use it occasionally. It's not very comfortable but it's not painful either. You can get used to it. I'm not crazy about stretchy nylon covering my triggers though. I like hard Kydex or similar. Lately been very comfortably carrying appendix in Kydex with a wing and a wedge.

I have carried a Bodyguard in a Galco Belly Band for years. The holster not comfortable and it is hot. However, it serves the purpose for concealing my Bodyguard. I also use a Robert Mika pocket holster on occasion.

If you really want to get rid of them, let me know. I'll pay postage and toss you a few bucks for your trouble.

I have a belly band and like it - though I don't wear it around my waist. I wear it higher, just under my pectorals. It puts the gun more under my armpit, almost the same location as a shoulder holster. But it keeps the gun tucked in way better than any shoulder holster. Mine is only big enough for a medium-sized auto or a J-frame.

I'd like to have a bigger one to carry a full-sized gun.

Been thinking about one after seeing the recent ads on Facebook. Have never had one and from what I'm reading here I maybe better give it a lot more thought. I don't think the ideal carry method has or ever will be invented.

I have a couple. Don’t know the name. Bought them at a show 20 years ago. I use them a few times a year when I have to wear Dress pants. I put the bellyband outside of my dress shirt just low enough when I have my pants on they just cover the but of a J-Frame. I will use them if my back bothers me as as a back support/holster. They are warm and not something I could wear above the waist in warm weather. Mine gets the most use after a shower with my PJs. Works good laying around before bed.

Thanks for the shout. I've about decided against one. To tell the truth, I've always had a problem with any kind of carry with maybe the exception of open carry. That's not very acceptable in most places. One thing or another always turns me off. I don't like IWB really. Never have been able to get comfortable with it. I hate to say so but a lot of times all I've got is my little Ruger LCP .380 in my back pocket. Winter time I'll carry a little J-Frame in a jacket pocket. Might experiment with one of the belly bands but most people seem to not care for them.

I'm far from young, and farther from skinny. I wear one every day.
As I said before, it's a matter of getting used to it.

For me, anything other than pocket carry is such a hassle. I just can't get used to a big chunk of metal anywhere on my waistband.
