That Lawrence model 14 flap holster is in my 1970 edition of Shooter's
Bible, so it might not be quite as old as you think. The 30L is probably
a clue as to what gun, but I don't know what it would be. Someone a
lot smarter than I will probably be along shortly and educate us both.

I have also seen the model 14 in newer models too.
Lawrence started using 3 digit size codes in 1960’s. So this 30L marking indicates this was made before that. Also the company logo with dash in the middle was used between 1910-1940... so this holster might be pre ww2 ? I dont know...

Your holster was made before WW II, it should fit a Luger pistol. The football shaped logo was used on holsters before the war, it was still in use on belts in the post-war period.

Thank you Turnerriver!
This holster is a perfect fit to Luger/Parabellum pistol. I took the holster to a collector and as you can see, it is a perfect fit !
