Default Wright Leather Works

Thinking about ordering the Cruiser IWB holster from this company. Does anyone have any experience with them and if so, how does it compare to a kydex holster? Thanks in advance.

I own two of their holsters. They are outstanding quality and a reasonable value. (Cheap and good seldom go together.) Leather and Kydex is kind of like Ford and Ferrari. Both will get you down the road, but there are a lot of inherent differences.

I have two of their "Predators", one for my Shield and one for my 442. You will not find better workmanship anywhere. The fit and retention are spot on. I also have one of their bullhide gun belts

I have never used a kydex holster.

I own a number of Wright Leather Works Products.

I have used a Predator and a Cruiser for a Sig P239 for about 5-years. Excellent quality and both hold the firearm securely and close to the body. The Predator I wear around the 3-4 o'clock, and the Cruiser at 3 o'clock. Both are comfortable. They do come tight and take a little bit to break in.

Their Mag-Snap and Mag-Clip magazine holsters work well too. Not to mention their belts are very well made and sturdy...

I have the "Closer" IWB. It is excellent all around. Leather is always more comfortable than kydex...though kydex is fine OWB for guns you don't really like

I have a Regulator for a Colt 1911, a Marshall for a Sig P220 and a Bull hide belt and I'm very well pleased. Nobody can run fast enough to will me a Kydex holster. Larry

Amazing product and when you call them, you talk to the Wright brothers themselves. They made me a custom holster for a 460 Rowland conversion 1911 I had a few years ago. Didn't have a blue gun with a compensator but instead had me send them measurements so that they could make a "plug" so that the holster perfectly fit the gun with the comp.

10/10 wish they made a thumbstrap pancake because WLW would be all I carry if they did.
