Default Pancake Holster

A coworker asked me if I could make a pancake holster for his Taurus .38 2”. I normally don’t make holsters for people mainly because I don’t have a collection of blue guns laying about. I have to take their gun for a few days which I don’t like to do. I tried to wiggle out if it but he insisted so I obliged. I don’t make many concealment holsters but I enjoyed this project.

Looking at that picture, I would've thought it was made by one of the big name custom holster makers.

Very nice work.

Not hijacking the thread, but I have a Taurus 85UL, the same size as the one in the picture, that is as accurate of any comparable sized Smith I own or have had, and has the best double action trigger pull of almost any Smith revolver I have owned.
It has an alloy frame that has not loosened up at all after firing well over a thousand rounds of standard pressure, and some +P as well.
I sold my Airweight a year or so after getting the Taurus for the above-mentioned reasons, and because of minor differences in frame geometry the Taurus did not sting my hand when shooting moderately powered and over loads.
Maybe I just got lucky.
The cost of a trigger job on a Smith that would make it as good as my Taurus 85 had out of the box would cost well over a hundred dollars I suspect.

BTW, that is an excellent looking holster.
