Default Came back from Louisville all spotted up

Just returned Sunday from the Louisville gun show. Ron Dixon is down to 2 shows a year. I had never seen a Heiser #2410 fancy spotted holster for revolvers until the OGCA show last month. The guy wanted $750 for it and I thought he was nuts. He eventually sold it that day for $600. I was dumbfounded.Lo and behold my buddy Tom, who also had never seen one was able to buy one the very next week at the Michigan show. I purchased it from him at Louisville. They must be uncommon. If anyone has one I would love to see pictures of it. My particular holster is written faintly on the back” mag 43/4”.it has a sight protector sewn inside. A Colt SAA 43/4 fits perfectly as does a S&W K frame. I’m delighted to add this holster to my herd. Bill

Here’s a couple of pictures with a Colt SAA and a S&Wmodel 1902 M&P.

Bill,
That is an awesome holster for sure! I don't have a Model 2410, but I do have a Model 2710. I believe mine is from the 1920's. It has the HHH rivets and the older oblong Heiser maker mark. Mine is also for a 4 3/4 inch barreled SAA. The first time I saw a spotted holster was in the book "Packing Iron". I was fascinated by it and on the lookout for one.

Larry, that’s a fabulous holster. Are the spots brass or nickel. Now we have to find a #2510 the basket weave then we’ll have all three. Have you seen any other fancy spotted Heiser holsters? Bill

The spots are nickel, Bill. I have seen a few others since I got mine, but not many.
