Got my order from Barranti Leather....
I wanted a cartridge sleeve for a while now and yesterday I received my order from Barranti Leather. It took a little bit, several months, but it's worth the wait in my opinion. Keep in mind the guy saying this is the most impatient guy on this planet!!
I like it, fits like a glove, and was really reasonable priced.

Doc’s stuff is top of the line. Unfortunately in order to get that quality one must wait...... (however impatiently).... yet you aren’t Disappointed when your order arrives....!

It's a .30-30, not I'm not sure if I'd shoot an Elephant with it. But I have some heavy Buffalo Bore ammo which have a 190gr JFN bullet. I wouldn't feel undergunned in bear country...
Item 28A/20 to the left and
Item 28B/20 to the right.
Heavy 30-30 Winchester Rifle Ammunition
30-30 WIN. LEAD FREE Rifle Ammunition

Early on when I began collecting "dog ear" holsters, Doc made his Ranger
model for me and added the "dog ear". Shown on the left on a David Keith
belt, with my model 19 Combat Magnum.
2nd from left, the "dog ears" have grown considerably. Barranti's is at
upper left.
3rd from left is this little Myres "dog ear" that didn't make it into the group
photo.
And 4th from left, basket weave by Tex Shoemaker that didn't make the
group photo either.
In case you can't tell, I do like "dog ears".
