Anyone got a 6 inch K-Frame holster?
I've been looking for 6 inch K-Frame holsters, and yes I can find them but I don't really want to pay $70 dollars for a brand new Bianchi holster. I would like to find a reasonable, used holster maybe $20 or $30 dollars. If you have one, could you insert an image? And if you have one, I am not interested in the western/"cowboy" style. Or shoulder holsters. I want an outside the waistband holster. I would like a clean, nice looking holster.
I may not buy. Just wanting to see if I can find one I really like.
P.S The gun is a 6 inch, blue, Model 14-4. Was a very nice piece and was messed up by some amateurs.
New to the forum, but not new to Smiths.
Thanks, - Vette.357.66

Reason: Realized I needed to add no shoulder holsters.

Welcome to the forum, your interest in Smith & Wessons will be well addressed here.
There are a lot of options, even given the styles you don’t want. You won’t get any offers to sell on this forum but here are some examples of types to look for.
A Bianchi model 10 field holster.
A Threepersons type, made by many makers both past and present.
This field holster was also made by many makers over the past 100 years.
The Bianchi holster is available used at reasonable prices, carved or basketweave holsters generally cost more than plain ones. I entered 6” K frame holster in the search field of a well known internet auction site and dozens of inexpensive serviceable holsters came up. You can also use the Want To Buy section of the classifieds and check the Accessories For Sale section on this forum as well. It shouldn’t be too hard to find what you’re looking for.
Regards,

Here's one. Bianchi 5BHL. I've had it so long I've forgotten what I paid for it, but remember that I did buy it used. Don't think it cost much, and woudn't have bought it if it had. Probably found it fishing around in a cast-off leather box in a gun store somewhere.
Personally, what I'd really like would be a Berns-Martin for a 6-inch. Sigh.

Haha. I really do like that holster, I’ve found a basketweave holster similar but black. It’s a Bianchi. I’ve thought of buying Safariland. Is there really a difference? If so, which one would be better? I’ve never really been into holsters, I’m still young and just recently even started carrying.

Something like this canted S. D. Myres Jock Strap holster might work for your barbecues.

The difference between a Safariland and a Bianchi is going to be personal preference. Both seem to be good quality construction. Haven't owned a Safariland, but have looked at several. I've always used and liked the Bianchi leather, so I guess that's my preference.
As I wrote above, try the used box at your LGS or at the next gun show. My guess is you can find something you like between $5 and $40 if you are patient. Ebay is always worth a look. And Uncle Mikes stuff will do to fill in for a while until you find the right one.
And remember: a good belt is just about as important as the holster. Good leather deserves good leather, and so do you!

An El Paso Saddlery holster I bought used years ago, don't remember what I paid. The old saying that quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten is true for me, but not for everyone.

Bullet Bob, that is a fine looking holster! A more appropriate saying for a holster like that is... Quality is appreciated long after the price is forgotten.

I have been buying Craft Holsters lately. They take a while to get but the quality is great and so are the prices. Safariland and Bianchi are the same company now.
