Help ID this German Holster
Picked this up today with a bunch stuff, can someone take a look at the photos and help ID this for me. I’m assuming to WW2 Era German? Only markings are in the buckles, can’t see anything on the leather.

I'd say it's a tanker (chest) holster, maybe for a P08 Luger?!
Apparently DRGM stands for Deutsches Reich Gebrauchsmuster and it's like a patent or something.

It's WWII German. I'm thinking either for a Luger or a P-38. The magazine pouch will give us a good clue if you can borrow a mag to try. Looks a bit more for a P-38 mag to me.

I can't tell the details from the , but it looks like that strap may not be original to the holster. It looks like the buckle from a German canteen.

Profile of the handgun in the leather of the holster pocket looks like a P38 to me. General design appears to be a near copy of the US M3 chest/shoulder holster as issued during WW2 for the M1911 pistols (also a version for the S&W Victory Model, primarily US Navy issue), with the addition of a pouch for spare magazine.
I'm thinking either a knock-off copy or a limited production commercial adaptation of the US-GI holsters used by aviators and tankers during WW2. Hardware may be from a commercial source or scavenged from other gear.

definitely not military - looks to be like some one pieced it together - hard to tell from picture , but it look to me if either a P08 or P38 barrel would protrude from bottom if inserted up to trigger guard -
