It's OK I can whistle dixie.
Couldn't resist picking this up for the K22''s.
I guess it's supposed to be for a python.
It a Lawrence flap.
I'm getting old and starting to like these.

I've been thinking of trying a full flap holster - never have used one but more and more I've been thinking of giving one a try for certain outdoors activities.

Exactly the reason I picked it up.
Figured I could take the k22 with nice grips hunting.

weatherby, that's a nice piece of leather for your K22........I'll whistle Dixie with you. Thanks for sharing the pics and enjoy carrying your K22 hunting "in style" in that holster.

That is one beautiful flap holster you got there. Any gun you carry in that guy will be safe, secure and pretty much elements protected.
I like flap style too............could be a result of Army days
Millions of GI's couldn't be wrong.

The #502 is for a Colt I frame, Python, or Officer Model Match with a 6” barrel. The B indicates basket stamped and the C is for Chamois lined. I have several Lawrence holsters but all of mine are X stamped for left hand.
Beautiful holster! Enjoy it.

It is unfortunate that many of the GIs did not get to use the Bianchi answer to the 1918 GI Holster as it was a huge improvement.
