George Lawrence 5” N frame tooled flap holster
I found this in a second hand shop today. Lawrence 503 for a five inch n frame. It’s lined with beautiful tooling in excellent condition. Wondering what the value would be thanks in advance.

Nice find, it looks like new! I’d guess it would bring around $250 at auction.

This would look pretty good in that holster, if I was inclined to carry it! I’m not a player for it, but I sure would snap one up in a hurry if I found it at a thrift shop!

Geo. Lawrence made good stuff. I had a " Gunslinger 2 rig for a super blackhawk that I bought from them in the mid 70's. Gave it to #2 son, along with the Ruger super blackhawk

This isn’t a for sale thread. It would be in the classified section if I decided to sell on the forum.Thank you all!

Minnesota. The holster is sitting on my table. Funny how they never installed the snap on the flap.

I can guarantee it is worth way more than you paid for it!!! Beautiful piece of leather from the days of true craftsmanship. I certainly hope none of the nice leather I have accumulated ever ends up in a thrift store. Although I am also happy it has made someones day-week-year.

Tell us about that. I assumed there was a blind female snap on the inside of the flap and a male snap on the body. Are there no snap provisions at all, or just a male on the body?
How about a photo with the flap up.

. just a male on the body. It’s not riveted to the leather liner just the outside layer. Evidently it was installed before they sandwiched the holster. Picture of the flap inside where the snap hits. No hole and never was. Custom order my guess.

Super flap holster! Does it have a plugged toe? Looks like it does, but that just may be the lining stitching.

I'm going off a dim memory, but I believe those Lawrence flap holsters were sold without the snap installed. It was up to the owner to install or have installed the snap to fit the particular grips on their gun.

I moved it over to the classifieds. I was given two numbers from forum members so I went in between those two numbers. Thanks for all your help.
