Heiser would make you whatever you wanted
I bought this pouch some years ago because it was unusual and had Heiser stamped on it. I knew it wasn’t a dump pouch or a cartridge pouch but that’s all I knew.
Today I was fighting the verdigris fight and noticed some very faint etching, too faint to photograph. It says 52 Win 10 shot so someone ordered a 3 magazine pouch for their Winchester model 52 rifle. I’ve got some nice Winchester .22 rifles but no model 52, I do have a model 69 which uses the same or similar magazine. Three 10 round magazines on your belt would do for a lot of rabbits, squirrels or crows back then.
Regards,
turnerriver

That is really cool, John. The only thing that could have made it better is if all three snaps were the black enamel triple H ones. I wonder why they weren't?

The only way I seem to be able to deal with it is low humidity and through cleaning at least once a year. Checking now and then might up that cleaning. Clear fingernail polish can help in some cases but is a giant PITA--
Fall is a good time for me to check, then again in the Spring-- can be hard to keep up with. Of course, saddle soap, Black Rock & Tan Kote seems to help a bit for me.

I would be hesitant to use fingernail polish or any type of clearcoat on rivets. The risk of it getting on the leather would be just as bad as the verdigris itself.
