Picked up a nice Heiser at the Louisville Gun Show
I went to the Louisville gun show last weekend. It was the first gun show I’ve attended since last February. It was not a particularly well attended show. I’m sure Covid and the racial strife that was happening in Louisville was the reason for the low attendance. I sold a few items and covered my expenses for the weekend. I did manage to purchase a really nice Heiser #455 for a 7 1/2” SAA. It was in beautiful condition and I surmise it was made in the 50’s. I couldn’t find it in the few catalogs that I have. It felt good to get a little action at a gun show. Bill
That’s a great find, Bill. It took me a minute to figure out why it had 455 and not 454 stamped on it.
First catalog I find that in is number 30, it’s illustrated with snaps on the loops, not buckles. Catalog number 32 ( 1938 or so) is below.
I don’t recall ever seeing a 455 model, yours is a beauty.
